Mom and dad robin have been very busy! Beginning with a single blue egg and one added each day, a family of four chicks are now growing rapidly. Dad was not very evident during egg sitting season other than to bring mom an occasional tasty grasshopper or worm.
The chicks hatched in the order the eggs were laid. Now that the chicks are hatched dad has been very busy, showing up often with a full mouth of wriggling earth worms to feed the chicks. The trusty Arlo wireless camera has been doing a great job as a critter cam with only a short down time to replace the batteries when mom was away on a worm hunt.
