Be sure to try and catch a view of the three brightest planets as they get close and cozy in the west just after sunset. Jupiter, Venus and Mercury can be seen about 30 minutes after sunset low in the western sky. A conjunction is when the planets all appear within a few degrees of each other and the next one will not be until 2015. Check out this NASA video for more details.
