Don’t forget to go out after midnight and check out the Perseid Meteor shower. Its one of the best of the year and the moon sets early. The peak of the shower is very broad so try to see them the next night if clouds interfere. We went out around 2:00 AM this morning and saw five or six before the clouds got in the way. You don’t need binoculars or a telescope. Even though they appear as if coming from the constellation Perseus (low in the west around 2:00AM) you can seem them anywhere in the sky. Just look up!
