Eclipse sort of

Unfortunately the weather and trees made it very difficult to get any good photos last night. This time of year the ecliptic (the path the moon and planets appear to travel) is very low in the south where spring leaves blocked most of the view from Dogstar Observatory. The few photos I did manage to capture were not that good. About 11:30 I took the DSLR and telephoto lens out to the deck and grab some long exposures near totality that show the blood red moon and brighter nearby stars. Lunar eclipses are very common so hope the weather cooperates at the next one in November.
