All the bird songs are getting louder and earlier as summer approaches. There are multiple phone apps that will identify birds by listening to their calls but they don’t give you a long term ideas of what species are active.
I recently installed a bird identification device called Birdweather PUC that connects to your home WiFi and listens constantly. https://www.birdweather.com. Detections are uploaded to birdweather.com.
You can see a list of detections at Dogstar here. https://app.birdweather.com/stations/2038. Eastern Phoebes are by far the most common this time of year. They make a good natural alarm clock if your windows are open and you want to rise at dawn!
